It looks like a cute little robot, but with STEAM Head’s curriculum and technology, Cozmo becomes a gateway for coding, problem solving, and machine learning. Students will learn block coding or Python, depending on age. With Cozmo, students learn create their own games, compete with their friends, and learn even explore Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning concepts—all while having fun.
For the past few years, drones have been taking over the hobby stores and Christmas wish list. But at STEAM Head, students just don’t buy drones to fly—they BUILD THEIR OWN! The class will teach students how to program and work with 3D printers to create their own drones. This class incorporates engineering skills, basic electronic skills, and programming skills.
At STEAM Head’s Maker’s Space area, students will learn how to prototype ideas, build and test those ideas, and then solve problems using their creations. Students start exploring with a handful of LEGO bricks and begin to create, test, build and rebuild. Every step is a learning experience and an opportunity for students to unleash their creativity.
Math. Science. Coding. Writing. STEAM Head has designed a series of courses that will combine coding and creativity to teach various skill sets. Learn how to write cursive. Learn how to create a water dragon. Learn how about geometry. STEAM Head’s Sphero University goes beyond coding, robotics, and technology—it transforms ideas into reality.
Don’t just learn how to use a computer; learn how to build your own! After building their own Kano computers, students will learn how to code art, hack games like Minecraft and Pong, build apps, data visuals, and animations. Each level of Kano classes will focus on different programming and coding skills. There is nothing a student can’t do with Kano.
